metal squeaking when opening the lid. i dont see a way to lube it without making a mess or dripping down over time. the real unit, blue color, is a little brighter than the stock image.

This is a great little box. The friction-fit lid closes securely, it comes in fun colors, and is very sturdily-built. I actually purchased this to use as a box to store my watercolor paints for travel, but changed my mind after getting it as it is a little heavy for that purpose. However, it is a very versatile size and I have repurposed it for brush/pen storage in my little studio. Even though it doesn't work for what I bought it for, I'm happy I bought it as it is built like a tank and comes in at a lower price than a lot of similar containers. Will likely buy more in the future.
