This is a review for the Tummy Time Mirror Baby ToyI purchased this item for my 3 month old. My baby struggles to enjoy tummy time and mostly just screams when placed on his belly. After trying this toy, tummy time is a delight for him!!The durability of the product is excellent and it appears exactly as depicted in images. My son is extremely fascinated by the high contrast picturesThe fact that this item is travel-friendly makes it a 5/5 in my opinion, perfect for grab-and-go days!!I would highly recommend this toy for babies!

This is the perfect toy for our youngest granddaughter! In the last couple of weeks she has not only discovered the joy of “tummy time” and of exploring her surroundings on her own, she has also discovered that she can manipulate soft books such as the one included in this set and create interesting noises. This set comes with two separate pieces, a cloth book and a free standing folding mirror/picture board. Both have been designed to offer slightly different experiences depending on the age and developmental maturity of the child.Based on research which suggests that very young babies prefer high contrast shapes and colours, the soft book which accompanies this set is divided into two sections. The first group of four pages features large bold illustrations of animals which are rendered in black, red, and white. The second group, also containing four pages, features similarly sized animals this time portrayed in an array of bright colours. Regardless of colour, each page has one animal whose tail extends off the page providing a tactile treat for the child to touch and play with. Happily, the tails are securely sewn into the book and have shown no likelihood of coming off. The pages of the book can, of course, be bent, folded, or manipulated with two of them making a “crinkly” noise. One of the pages even contains a hidden squeaker for the child to find (unfortunately, it’s difficult to get it to make a noise). The book is well sewn and nicely sized for small hands. The folding mirror/tummy toy folds flat for easy storage and transport. Like the book, it features one side with bold illustrations in red, black, and white while the flip side has brightly coloured pictures. The artwork on both sides is cartoon like and features animals as well as common foods and objects. The unit can be laid out on the ground for baby to explore or set up so that either side faces outwards. Assembly involves folding the mat into a triangular shape then slipping two large toggle buttons through loops on the opposite end of the mat. The mirror is impressively clear and large enough that it provides an excellent image. Two rubbery feeling tactile teething rings are attached to the toy with short straps for baby to play with. Unfortunately, the product does not indicate what these rings are made of.The baby loved this! It is bright, colourful, and features friendly, appealing characters which entranced her. My wife and I love how portable the toy is; folded up it fits easily in the diaper bag, ready to go wherever baby goes. The tactile elements of the toy, particularly the tails on the animals in the book, are well sewn and constantly seem to attract baby’s attention. Our granddaughter loves crinkly toys and this one was no exception although we were a bit disappointed with how difficult it was to get the little squeaker to work. At its current price of $18 CAD (with coupon) this is a lovely, interactive toy for young explorers; our granddaughter loves it. It would make a cute baby gift. Recommended.

This is a very nice tummy time toy, especially for the price. I love that it has the black and white as well as the colour options for different stages. The mirror is quite large. It packs down small and stands up well on its own. Seems to be quite good quality for the price. The only reason why I took off a star was because it had a strange smell when I opened the package. It almost smelled moldy, although I think it was a chemical smell. I put it outside in the sun for a few hours and the smell went away, but it was a bit concerning. It is washable, so I will probably do a hand wash in some disinfectant before giving it to the baby to play with.

My newborn son loves this, especially the mirror, he loves to look at it while doing tummy time. He isn't too keen on the other items that much, but I find it rather cute and a good way to learn for when he gets a bit older. The black and white design is great for him right now. There are lots of sensory items and things to touch that can also make sounds. I am sure he will enjoy it more once he is older!

This is a two-piece interactive toy that aids in baby’s visual, auditory and brain development. The stitching and seams appear to be strong on both items. I like that it is easy to wipe clean, doesn’t take up much room, easy to store away when not in use, and handy to take when traveling to help keep the little one engaged. The cloth booklet features two pages that are in black, white and red with four different animal prints and two pages that features animals back to back in full color. Each page features different animals and each page has two tails that are an extension to the page that a baby can grab and hold onto. One of the pages has a squeaky toy inside the page and the other pages has a texture that makes a noise. The foldable safe mirror has black, white and red colors on one side and full color on the other side. Attached to the foldable mirror, it also has two silicone teething items (a banana and a strawberry). This would make a great baby shower gift to give as I like giving gifts that are educational by design.

This little tummy time book is awesome. It's a nice big size. It has a baby safe mirror as well as lots of different fun pages for baby to look at - both black and white and coloured. You can stand the book up in a triangle or leave it flat. A cool feature is you can add the pages onto the stand or keep the pages separate as their own little book. There are also some teethers attached to the mirrored part. My baby is 2.5 months and loves to stare at the mirror as well as the black and white pages - I'm sure she'll loved the coloured ones once she's older. I can see us using this for atleast the next six months, so well worth your money. It's also very light and can fold down flat, so great for travel. Some of the pages have little squeakers in them as well, so make it more entertaining. This would make a great gift for a new parent; you can never have enough of these tummy time books, in my opinion.
