Wish I would have gone with magnets these strikers fail to lock after afew months of use I have 7 doors where I now need to replace with something that works waste of money

NO=fail-secure (locked when no power); NC=fail-safe (unlocked when no power). Otherwise, the instructions were pretty straight-forward, and the lock is working perfectly and feels well-made. Update Feb. 2025. Has been in use for 10 months and still works great.

The lock is heavy, and it looks and feels well constructed. Installed it with a RFID card reader to control access to an outside door. Works perfectly. The most difficult part is to run the wires inside the door frame.
