I didn't need an apron that went far below my waste, as I was only trying to protect shirts from splatters while cooking on the stovetop. I also didn't want an apron with pockets, one that was heavy, and one that was hot to wear. This one does the trick, and I liked the color options.

Husband used this for a Texas Chainsaw Massacre costume and it was perfect.I used fake blood and it did not seep through. We had to take it off and put fake blood and dirt underneath it. Was way too clean where the apron was
