Gifted this to my 5 year niece for her birthday 🎂 and she loves it -definitely a fun family activity to do together as well . Comes with everything as advertised 100 percent. Recommend and make a very sweet 🎁 idea as well for all special occasions.

This is a super cute craft for little kids who love unicorns and magic. The kit has everything you keed to create the terrarium, from crystals, unicorns and a castle, to moss and plants. It was really fun watching her carefully choose where to place the decor and colours and put it all together. It's like building a magic garden, and the light up feature is lovely - adds a touch of wimsy to her room and she likes to look at it every night as she goes to sleep. This is a great craft that kids will enjoy building and will remain on display long after you build it - gift that will remind you both of when she was little.

A few of our kids really love unicorns, and as no surprise, similarly their friends do. This makes this kit a perfect little gift to give for a kid you don't know a lot about. I like that it combines art with a toy and is also not too big that it's obtrusive as a decor item in a kids room. My kid decided to keep this one and do it themselves versus gifting it, and they had a lot of fun arranging their items just so. Be aware that it can be a bit difficult to have all your components stay in place, so if you have a kid who has a specific vision, they might struggle with how jumbled the items can get.

I have a 5 year old granddaughter. This will make a nice hands on gift for her. The Terrarium comes with all the bits and pieces one needs for the child to make their own scene. The lid includes a battery compartment which takes 3 AAA batteries (not included) that power a string of micro LED lights. The string can be woven around the inside to provide light and sparkle.Visually, the weak point is the lid. It is unfinished cork. The battery compartment is in the top center of it. It would look better if it was at least all one colour, or painted / covered, or perhaps made from a foam rubber or something that looks a little less utilitarian. I will admit that at least cork is a natural material, so it is a more environmentally friendly choice.

This looks so amazing once lit up and complete. Not a hard process to make it, fun for everyone. Looks really unique!! Doesn’t look cheap because of all they give you to fill the space.My daughter loved putting it together. Sticky pads are super sticky so be careful when placing things down because it’s hard to move after. Was a little messy with the fake moss but the lid twists shut which keeps it contained.but it smells so bad. I even tried airing everything out for a few days ...
