Radio worked great , used it the whole entire hunting season. This was the only way we had to communicate in the woods . There was no cell phone signal and the radio worked flawless.

Volume quit 1 month after install ! Junk! And return and replacement is junk to DONT buy electronics on line support local retailers! My lesson is learned! Uniden vhf radio ! Only after I looked at reviews that this is a ongoing issue with these radios

I used to always buy the traditional communications radios from longtime brand names and never considered Uniden due to bad experiences with their portable house phones. Bought my son a Uniden CB for his truck and was very impressed with the reliability and quality. I needed another VHF radio for my boat so i went Uniden and WOW what a great unit for the price.
