They do the job, however you can see on inspection that they are not meant to be industrial or professional quality. Ergonomics and smoothness of the opening mechanism are not comfortable after using for an hour or more. Handles are quite small. The mechanism part is a little flimsy and likely won't last too long, but is functional. Some obvious machining/tooling marks which may risk scratching another metal or plastic depending on what you're doing, and the flat grip pliers don't line up 100% so working with very fine materials is a little more difficult.I'm satisfied for a basic set of tools for basic work - for something with quick order turn-around, some reliability, at a budget, and to try out jewellery making tasks, not bad. If you're planning to do more with them for longer and you can afford it, then definitely better/proper quality tools will be worth while or conversely if you don't need these right away then you might be able to find similar options cheaper.

Well made and sturdy tools for jewelry making or for just having around the house. The wire cutters are okay but I bought and backup pair in case these were not sharpe enough to cut through a dainty chain. As a comparison, the backup pair a far superior ("BOOSDEN Wire Cutter,6.5 inch Side Cutters"). Regardless, the other tools that come with the kit are great.

Needed to get more tools for jewelry making and crafting. Tired of sharing when I do projects with my daughter. So, got this set so we can each have what we need. Very good quality tweezers - really like them. These are NOT professional grade tools, but crafting grade. Excellent for price. No complaints. Handle 18 ga wire fine. I would expect them to cut up to 14 ga, but have not tried. Nice starter set without investing too much money. Or great for the occasional crafter.

These pliers were exactly what I was looking for. I received a mini house kit for Christmas that requires holding small pieces, and cutting/bending wires. The tools made my life a lot easier. They were sharp and do what they're intended to do. No complaints so far!
