While snorkeling on the Great barrier reef in Australia, my head got too much sun. I bought this to stop the sun from burning my head and it really works. This is easy to put on and take off. You can barely feel it while snorkeling. I highly recommend this item.

I wear these under a batman cowl. I switch out at every break during events to a fresh dry one. It good to have a couple on had for costuming and wearing under masks.

I bought this to protect me from the sun while snorkeling in Florida and Caribbean. It works well, dries fast, packs into a small space, seems to be durable, doesn't interfere with my mask.

Hood is very helpful for keeping my swimming-headset in place and comfortable. Tucks nicely inside full-body swimsuit helping keep me a little warmer as I swim a mile-a-day in an indoor pool at the Y. I think I prefer the full-body suit with the built-in hood better, but this hood lets me alternate with my other suit. (Yep, I am a wimp in the face of c-o-l-d)--UPDATE-- Bought second one to alternate some. Swimming 5 days/wk.
