As other reviews say, these are not to be used as a functional latch. They are decorative at best. Super low quality and extremely small. Very cheaply looking and cheaply made. The screws provided are WAY too small to actually hold a latch in place on a cabinet. You will just waste time drilling holes in your cabinet for the screws to eventually pull out.For decorating a chest as a kid's project, maybe you could use these. For actually keeping a cabinet shut you need to buy a more high quality latch with bigger screws. I should've read the reviews before buying...
