I'm trying to ditch plastic tubes of lip balm in favor of cardboard ones. But they generally don't have a twist-to-raise feature, and rely on poking your finger up inside to advance the balm as you use it up. This is fine for many tubes, but some are too narrow for my index finger to fit comfortably. I can use my pinky finger but it's awkward. Hack: cut off 1” bits of this stuff and stick it on the cardboard plunger with appropriately sized (13mm or thereabouts) glue dots. Easy peasy. Can be re-used between tubes, with refreshed glue dots. This coil should last me a whiiiiile. Yay!
