I measured TIR on both OD and ID by inserting it into the bore (female MT3 taper) on the spindle shaft of my lathe. OD measured within 0.001" using a "last word" indicator but ID showed TIR of in excess of +- 0.004" which varied along the depth. My thoughts are that the MT2 reamer used to cut the ID taper was worn out or the grinder moved during final finish. I suppose you get what you pay for.

work as needed but sure can be hard to remove. need some kind of tool that is a tighter fit to try and remove as the sleeve is hollow
