I recently purchased the uxcell Nitrile Rubber Round Seal Strip, measuring 2mm in diameter and 8 meters in length, for a unique project. I used it in conjunction with a 3D printed box that had a specific channel designed for sealing purposes. The rubber strip fits perfectly in the designated channel and provides an excellent seal for the box, which was my primary goal.The seal's effectiveness is commendable. It ensures that the contents of the box are well-protected and secure, which is exactly what I was hoping for when I integrated it into my 3D printing project.However, I did encounter a slight issue with the material's flexibility. The nitrile rubber is not as soft as I expected. This stiffness resulted in a bit of a challenge when closing the box, to the point where one of the latches actually broke due to the effort required. While this isn't a deal-breaker, it's something to keep in mind, especially if you're planning to use it in applications that require frequent opening and closing.In summary, the uxcell Nitrile Rubber Round Seal Strip does a great job at creating a secure seal. It's a solid choice for projects requiring a tight fit and protection. Just be cautious of its stiffness, especially in applications where flexibility is a key factor.
