VMQ O-Ring
- Hardness: 50A
- Temperature: -22℉ (-30℃) to 392℉ (200℃)
Circular Cross-Section
- They are circular in shape, round in cross-section.
- Designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.
- Commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders.
Silicone Rubber O-Ring
- Noted for their ability to be used over a wide temperature range and for excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, and aging.
- Standard silicones are resistant to water (to 100°C), aliphatic engine and transmission oils and animal and plant oils, and fats.
- Silicones are generally not resistant to fuels, aromatic mineral oils, steam (short term to 120°C is possible), silicone oils and greases, acids, or alkalis.

I like the thickness and overall size and color of the o rings. I use these as replacements for drinking water bottles so I can keep using the bottles. The original white silicone o rings always get black and dirty and it's not worth the tedious task of cleaning them. These being orange color makes it easier to see as o rings get dirty and I can replace more often. Much easier to see clean or not than standard black o rings.

Successfully used it to replace the o-ring on my ddc pump that was installed on one of my Iceman Cooler DDC Combo Res. The softer rubber combined with the greater diameter was enough to overcome minor machining defects in the acetal that caused the original o-ring to leak.
