Though it was advertised as being compatible with Boehm (French system) clarinets, this mouthpiece is very stuffy and non-flexible with wide intervals. The tenon is also too long, so it doesn't fit properly into the socket of any standard barrel for Boehm (French system) clarinets; there's a 1-1.5mm gap above the barrel. This causes a risk that the mouthpiece may move around a bit during use. It also played flat.I got this mouthpiece after having used the Black Diamond for several years but wished for a darker, more mellow sound than the Black Diamond produces. For a German clarinet, it probably works fine; for me, getting this one was a mistake. I hope I can sell it off.

I'm sure it's a fine mouthpiece, but it just doesn't work for ME.
