This case does a great job of maintaining reeds. The sponge retains humidity for quite awhile before needing to be wetted again. The reeds slots are numbered to help with your rotation. It will hold reeds for alto sax, soprano sax, and clarinet.

Easy to use. The tips of the reeds stay flat and the reeds are correctly hydrated and therefore last longer.

Great product but the system for telling if they need water or not is kinda scuff, I just know based off feeling a reed in the case.

Had it for about three weeks. Works fine, ordered another for my alto reeds. Just keep the sponge merely damp, not soaking wet, or you'll get mildew according to the .com comments. It lasts at least a week or two, but my house humidifier keeps my house humidity at around 40%. Also the little color indicator is easy to get wet so be careful. But it all works well. I rotated the text on the color pad so I can read it with the reed numbers right side up. You tend to hold it so you can read the text. Small point but it makes a difference if you care about the numbers. I'll give it five stars if I still like it in a few months.
