Looks good, fits perfect, does what it says it'll do. So, what's the fix? There's a small "knock out" area that allows you to plug in your phone to power it up or to activate your Apple Play. But, when your phones plugged in, you can't easily lift or remove the new tray. And, if you're driving when you need to remove the tray... feerget about it! But, if you just take a penknife or maybe even a small scissors, you can make two "snips" that will allow the new tray to wiggle around the power cord without unplugging it. And, with that solution, it will earn "five stars."

This is so nice for the stupid never ending pit that is the console of my XT5. What a terrible design idea for these consoles! Anyway, these trays fix that super annoying issue, perfectly.The tray insert is deep enough to hold the most grabbed for essentials, and then the rest of the stuff stays below in the bottomless pit of the console. There is a rubber mat that goes inside the tray and has the Cadillac logo on it. The tray, nor the mat interfere with the usb outlets or running the cord from those usb out the front of the console (like we have to do when the wireless charging slot doesn't work for our phones with a case on etc).This tray goes into place snug and secure and stays put. A tight fit you could say, but in a good way, and doesn't scratch or damage the surroundings when taking it in and out.

This is the perfect tray for the large center armrest compartment! It is not hard to take out to get to the stuff underneath the tray. Just grab the edge of the tray, and it removes easily. You will have to unplug any chord in the USB outlets at the back of the console to get the tray out, but why not just put the items that you commonly use from the center console inside the tray. That is the reason for the tray.

I have had this in my 2019 Cadillac XT5 for about a week. I almost bought a different brand until I realized it didn’t have cut outs for access to the USB ports. Then I found this one and I’m glad I did. Like several others have mentioned, I missed the two level center console storage that I had in my SRX and the small, hidden storage in the dash but this fixes that problem. The small items that I used to store in the hidden cubby hole are now stored in the new upper level of the center console. Yes, getting to things in the bottom of the console isn’t as convenient and you probably wouldn’t want to attempt it while driving but that’s not a problem for me. The small things like eyeglass wipes, phone charger, hand sanitizer are the things I reach for most frequently. Fits great. Looks great. Snug fit with no rattles. Has cutouts for access to the USB ports. Well worth the price.

Very convenient, adress the fact that the center storage is a bottomless pit where you can’t find anything. Might be a little too snug if you plan on removing it frequently to access under it.
