Installation Process

Step 1

  • Choose correct size of bolt and nut (mm or inch due to difference on thread spacing).

Step 2

  • Screw down studs to bolt down end battery (Please keep length of stud enough to tighten down terminal).

Step 3

  • Then put flat washer first, if mounting base size is too small (It’s necessary, or can not tighten down terminal).
  • Also For Threaded Studs Battery.

Step 3

  • Continue to put terminal, flat washer, spring washer one by one, then tighten down nut.
  • To increase or decrease flat washer to tighten down terminal.

Added two LiTime LIPO4 batteries and a Victron shunt to RV. These really helped clean up the plethora of positive wires going to the battery posts. Solid construction and worth the money!

A year ago, I bought a 12 way for my camper and it’s still going strong. I bought this 8 way for my truck as I had some vertical space but very limited horizontal space and struggled to connect the necessary leads to terminals. But the VGate gives you extra connection space and it worked great for my application. These are solidly made and for me, have performed well.

I have a travel trailer and I installed solar. This increased the number of battery connections. I then installed a large inverter with remote control. The number of connections increased to 6 positive and 4 negative. These distribution blocks made it possible to have clean organized connections. These blocks are great and I would recommend them to anyone who has multiple battery connections.

I've had an octopus of cables connected to the same terminals on my truck battery and I was looking for an adapter exactly like this. In addition the the truck power I also have an external dc-dc charger and a bluetooth monitoring device. The screw terminals on this adapter block fit both small and larger gauge cables so this makes it quite versatile. I woulld recommend using ferulles on thebare wire ends for a better connection.
