I've had this light for over 2 years now using it as a cool desk light. I have never had any issues with it the and light power is the same as when I purchased it. Still levitates great and is always cool to look at. I have dropped the bulb by accident a few times and it still works no problem but I hear they are hard to replace so I would be careful around that.

Its got a fairly durable bulb. The cats knocked it down a few times. Not overly bright but a nice yellow glow. Rotates. I'd definitely gift it its very neat.

very nice but fragile. Not sure that the bulb will resist for ever. too bad that we can not change it in case of accident.

Very nice looking item and it works perfectly, BUT if you break the light bulb or if it stop working by itself, there is no way you can buy another one to replace it as the light bulb is glued to the levitating mechanism. You will have to buy a brand new item (+ / - $100 for a light bulb is pretty expensive. :( :(
