Bought 2 of these units, one is working very well, the other failed shortly after installation. I contacted the seller and they kept stalling for months. Now it's too late to return it. The issue is with the seller, BrandCentric. I do not recommend them. They told me an engineer would be in touch to help troubleshoot the product, never heard from one. Then after a while they stopped responding to my messages.The product malfunctioned and is stuck in a mode that doesn't charge the batteries with both the green and yellow lights flashing. This is supposed to be a sign of over voltage from the PV, but the second one of these I bought works fine in the same system, so clearly this unit is defective.

This cheaper model is not bluetooth, you need to have the adaptor to change the parameters. It has a daily charge recordings but not the fréquent variables like charging level. Once you plug the adaptor, it starts to show data on the app. Onless you already have the adapter, it is better to buy the more advanced model.

Comprado en Julio de 2024. Unos de los mejores reguladores de carga solar que hay hasta el momento. Permite conectar en serie paneles hasta 75 voltios. La salida es de 15 amperios. En mi caso, elegí la linea BLUE, porque no necesitaba conectarlo ni ver consumos. Tiene un fusible de 20A y bajo este, un conector para pasar datos del regulador a un bluetooth, o una centralita de datos, o lo que sea. Recomiendo la compra.

I recommend upgrading to the Bluetooth smart controller, which has a Digital reset option. Mine lacks a reset. Hoping Victron will replace it.

This controller works well and extracts a lot of power from the panels. However, there are two important things to keep in mind. First of all, the slots to fit the wires in are small. I have thick gauge wires and had a difficult time inserting and securing the wires. Second of all, the controller is not configured for use with Lifepo4 batteries by default, it's configured for AGM batteries. Since it doesn't have a screen or buttons, you have to purchase the Bluetooth module and modify the battery profile using the app.

This product is exactly what I expected with one exception: although the build quality seems rock solid otherwise, all the terminals (jst-ph, fuse and wire connections) are terribly delicate. I have already bent up the fuse and my just port is wobbly – but they do still work.At 220W on a 12V system there is barely any detectable heat. It is efficient and the app gives decent information. I was attracted to this product by their support of open source projects but I have yet to try any out.
