Works well controlling the speed on a 12volt motor. Digital read out quit but not necessary for the project.

Description is not accurate as it only has half of the required transistors to be a 60 Amp controller.Has 5 transistors with heat sinks, true 60 amp units would have 10. This is a 30 Amp unit at best.Also smelt like burnt components right out of bag. did not test it and sent straight back for return.

Item received as promised, however the unit had a burnt circuit board smell, plastic cover all torn in pieces, steel circuit board dented and unit doesn't work. Was clearly send a defective and used part.

I use it to control my small vacuume pump (DC diaphragm, not AC rotary vein hvac pump) and it gives me great control of the motor and therefore the strength on the vacuum. My HVAC pump works stronger and faster, but that's not what you want when doing a vacuum distillation. I love it.
