This has saved my eggs. My chickens were eating their eggs or at least one culprit was eating the eggs. Also got tired of buying straw bedding or ceder chip bedding when the chickens just kicked it out all the time. Got these mats after seeing a post in a chicken group recommending these so I figured I'd give it a go. So far so good. No broken eggs. No eaten eggs. Clean eggs. So much better. Building more nesting boxes and added the remainder to them. Plus cheap! Highly recommend! Wish I got these sooner. 11 years of raising chickens and apparently I never even thought to get these.

I bought these for the nest boxes. My chickens refused to use them and decided to lay in their poop under their roost bars. Still 5 stars since they are as advertised.

The material on the bottom is deteriorating but they still do the job. I bought a set last year and will probably replace those next spring. So, these are probably good for about 2 years for chicken nesting boxes, but I doubt they’d last that long with regular cleaning from dog business…

I did my research before purchasing these. Previously, I used the disposable egg mats and liked them but hated the waste. These mats are amazing! If your chickens are healthy and have healthy formed stools, these are so easy to shake off the poo and replace in the box. They’re so easy to wash off. Recently, some of my flock has started sleeping in the egg boxes, so easy cleaning and reusable mats are saving me a ton of money! I highly recommend!
