They are not super thick, so if you get cold easily, you will need thicker wool socks. For me, they do the job great. I wear them everyday and I had no problem with washing them. I know a couple of people had some issues when they washed them, but everything is still great on my end and I already washed them a couple of times. Love the colors, they are comfortable and still keep my feet warm even though they are not super thick.

Compared to every other pair of wool sock that I've owned over the past 4 decades, I don't see or feel that there's any wool in this sock. I feel duped. I only bought them because they were supposed to have "wool" content (40% wool), but I don't feel any wool in these socks. None.update: had to increase to 3 stars, since they are soft to wear and my 13 year old daughter swears that they are warm! They are not tight around my (large?) ankles, and fit nicely. I'm still skeptical of wool content, but I'm glad they are good enough to keep and to use.

I love these socks. They are of good material. Cozy and warm. I really like the colours. They stay up well and wash well( I washed in the machine on cold in a garment bag). Great price for the quality.

L'idée de départ était de trouver des chaussettes de sport sans tomber dans le cliché des chaussettes de tennis bon marché. À 14 € les quatre paires, je me suis dit que je ne risquais pas grand-chose : j'avais raison.Ces chaussettes à tige basse sont à la fois épaisses et respirantes, et fournissent un réel confort de marche sans les habituelles odeurs de pied qui accompagnent en règle générale le port de chaussettes épaisses.Renforcées au talon et au niveau des orteils, elles sont particulièrement solides : en six mois d'utilisation intensive (j'en ai racheté deux lots, et je ne porte pratiquement plus que celles-là) elles sont passées au lave-linge et au sèche-linge un grand nombre de fois, sans jamais rétrécir ni perdre de leur douceur.Un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Mieux : un investissement !
