I was initially drawn to this product because of its compact design and the convenience of controlling a single-color LED strip. The small form factor and USB interface made it perfect for my setup, and its low-profile remote seemed like a great addition.However, I regret not reading the comments before purchasing. The controller does not work as expected—it won't completely turn off the LED strip. Instead, toggling the on/off button just dims the lights rather than shutting them off entirely. Additionally, the remote lacks a built-in battery, which adds another inconvenience I didn’t anticipate.While the concept and design seemed promising, the poor functionality completely undermines the product’s utility. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this controller due to its inability to perform even basic functions reliably.

It greatly reduces the heat generated by the LED cob light strip. The remote control has a very long range. Highly recommend.

Wow too much to ask that a battery be included with the controller. No instead I removed the plastic tab that was supposed to keep the battery inactive but there was no battery in the unit so I had to figure out that the battery was missing. I was about to return the unit but thought to look at the battery compartment and sure enough there was no battery so that is why it would not work. And it is not a common battery that I keep around a 2025. Shame on you

Doesn't come with a battery - Bad. Initial setup for lights is to "flicker" - none of the buttons appear to work until you press the "Light" button, and then the lights seem to work normally - Bad. RF remote control with long range - Good! All devices are programmed to the same frequency and I cannot figure out how to set them to different frequencies - BAD!! I purchased two of these because I really wanted to control two different items in my house... but triggering the remote turns BOTH devices on/off. Big problem IMHO - something easily fixed by a couple of dipswitches somewhere.
