Very nice keyboard tray! Many desks do not come with one built in anymore, so these clamp on trays are very nice. Not only can I protect the keyboard when not in use, but it also helps with keeping a better posture while I type. This truly is a great product.

When completed, you'll have a sturdy, fixed location keyboard mount for your computer desk. The assembly is a little tricky, in that there are four sliding nuts that have to be aligned at the proper depth for you to attach this securely to your desk. Since they slide freely up and down in their slots they can be a little fidgety to align and tighten. You will probably need trial and error to adjust the clamp mechanism to the correct depth to accommodate your desk surface, but once it's done it seems pretty secure. You'll need two tools for assembly, a ball hex driver (included, but make sure you remember where you put it when you're finished) and a Phillips head screwdriver (not included). You may also want to use a level if have one to ensure the tray is level, but I did it by eye and it looks fine.This is strictly a fixed keyboard mount, not a traditional keyboard tray that slides under a desk. It can be adjusted somewhat, but it requires unbolting the mount so you'll need the ball hex driver. When completed, it fits a full sized keyboard but leaves no room for a mouse, so you may need a larger mount if you need a mousing surface also.

This is a too narrow for most ergonomic keyboards--especially the kind with the padded wrist rest attached. I like to prop up the little feet underneath the front of the keyboard, but the feet jut over the front edge, so that's a no-go. Also, it would be nice if this tray was wider, to accommodate a mouse.This is probably fine for a regular keyboard, if you're ok with not being able to put a mouse on the tray.

I have a thick desk and the other clamps were not wide enough. These clamps are perfect because you can adjust the height of the tray and the height of the clamps. I just wish they had that was a little longer for larger keyboards. I use a Kinesis and have the 2 keyboard sections further apart than a normal ergonomic keyboard and a separate 10 key. So I had to get the mouse pad one too but they both work for the space and separation I need for ergonomic positioning.

The height can be adjusted A LOT, which I love because they made it incredibly easy to set up and adjust to the perfect height for you. Setup took me around ten minutes to complete. I do truly love this product. Now, I gave it 4 stars because the base of the tray is made of a slick metal material. If it were covered with some sort of mouse pad type material, that would make this the perfect tray. Instead, my wireless keyboard tends to move around a lot when I type, which is not convenient. But overall, I am really digging this product.
