CUTTING WHEEL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Proprietary aluminum oxide grain combination ensures durable long wheel life and fast bur-free cutting. They are manufactured to reduce burring after cutting, as well as being resistant to catching by using a rubber moulding press which creates a minute wave along the surface of the disc, reducing the overall total surface tension while cutting.

I heard cutting discs wore out fast and disintigrated with any lateral pressure, so I figured I'd need a few. This item had good reviews and was a bargain, so I put on my turtleneck, a welding shirt, safety glasses, a full face shield, and MIG gloves, snapped the cutting wheel guard on and made 12 cuts through 2x6cm rectangular tubing with a 3 or 4mm wall thickness.Sample size is one disc and it was just mild steel with a powder coat, but I'm very impressed. Some of my cuts were at angles and I definitely wasn't super steady, but I've worn a few mm off the diameter of one disc and have 49 new discs left.

I use a ton of cut-off wheels and have tried every brand imaginable from the cheapest of cheap to the ones that cost $10 a disc. I was quite surprised after running a few of these. Cuts that would normally eat up an entire disc by themselves I was doing with these only using half a disc. Hidden gem right here boys, buy them up.

Have fine so muck with one disk so far and love it. On steel would recommend it!!!!!
