Well priced. The wire bail does not contribute to strength, there is no notch to catch the top of the wire bail, bail just rests on the side of the carabiner. Tested one carabiner with about 160 lbs weight, carabiner bent (see photo). Strong enough to hook water bottle, gear to back pack. I have real climbing carabiners for heavier loads and where failure could cause injury (e.g., hammock).

I've been looking for smaller metal keyring clip carabiners with incorporated swivels (to make kayaking gear leashes which can be clipped/unclipped easily yet strong enough not to open accidentally). Most other types that I've found/tried are either outrageously expensive, cheaply made (bend/deform), have poor tension, are plastic, or use lobster-claw clips (which risk opening inadvertently). While these carabiners don't have the swivel (which wasn't entirely necessary), these are perfect for the rest of my requirements!I also needed strong, rustproof, keyrings which could be semi-permanently attached to my kayak's flush-mounted rod holders to act as the clip-in points for all types of gear (in case of accidental item drop/bump &/or full kayak tip).I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality of these accessory carabiners (& keyrings). I haven't seen quality like this in carabiners unless they were full-sized, safety-certified, climbing carabiners (even most climbing brand name accessory carabiners are not to this level of quality). The carabiners have no sharp edges (zero burrs), are lightweight, have strong clip tension (doesn't bend/jam/slip out of position), and have no chipping/peeling paint job.The keyrings have strong tension & return to their starting state (don't stay bent/deformed) after holding open/attaching things to them. Not yet sure if they are rustproof/resistant (based on their strength, they likely are) but will hopefully update this detail after kayaking (multiple times, freshwater only). As a side note, extreme care was taken packaging these, as the keyrings are all in one ziplock, each carabiner is in a separate ziplock, and then all ziplock bags are in a heavier-duty, potentially waterproof, ziplock pouch.

I bought these carabiners to use as quick attachments for guylines for a pop up beach tent. I was surprise at how sturdy they were for their size. They were inexpensive and came with quick rings that I used to attach to the tent. More than adequate for my purpose.

I have inspected these upon arrival and although there's no weight limit stamped on them, I do believe them to be very strong like the product description says. I hooked one up to my pull-up bar and did some reps. I see zero bending or stress. I'm only about 140 lbs, but even when I bounce on the bar to create extra burst weight, it feels really solid. I have full confidence to use them for my pull-bar, which is why I bought these.Update 2020-07-06: Been using these carabiners on my pull-up bar over the past few months. No issues whatsoever. I don't even think about them anymore which is a good thing.Update 2020-12-01: Still going strong after many reps of pull-ups. Really glad I bought these.Update 2023-07-12: Still going strong after thousands of pull-ups supported by these carabiners!

I wanted a clip that was sturdy for both spare keys and an earbud case for my wireless bluetooth headphones. The problem was that the cheaper light ones were either too big, too small to get through the loop, or were flimsy.I tried the multi color ones, that are just a little bit too big. They are ok but the closing mechanism is weak and may not close completely after use. And, loosing earbuds that cost $180 is due to c flimsy locking mechanism is a disaster.I tries those S shaped clips that have a secondary twisting clip that prevents opening. Those are solid, but they are cumbersome to use and that little locking mechanism sometimes gets stuck. The S Biner is nice, but that easy to lock mechanism is not so easy to unlock.I didn't need the giant carabine and don't need something that will support 1200 lbs from a cliff. Just a well made, small carabiner type clip. These seem to be the perfect fit. They come in a nice bag with circular but flattened steel key rings. The clip itself is well made. A good size and good spring action. It has a locking mechanism that is solid, but is easy to open and remove from a belt loop.A good price and a good product for my keys and earbud case.

i needed these to make attaching some new bungee cords for a car cover. i was hoping they would be smaller than normal and be decent quality. they are everything i was hoping for. the size, design and quality are all there. for use around the house these are great. considering what they cost and how many i ended up i think it is a good value. *note these IMHO are only for light duty uses. for my needs these worked out perfectly. i think for most these would work out well too.
