As a history buff I love the ability to use this set for either side and has multiple heads to interchange to make them either American or British. The Molly Pitcher character was a nice classy touch and my wife, the grade school teacher, was very impressed with Warlord games for giving her the credit she deserves. I will be purchasing many more sets to round off my war table.

Item arrived in perfect condition. Scale is perfect representation of 3-pound “grasshopper” cannon, which was often carried onto the field by four troops. A 6-pound cannon is also represented. Don’t confuse these with the larger 10- and 12-pound artillery pieces (or larger) often seen as displays on battlefields. Figures and cannon must be assembled and painted. Great kit.

Really cool looking little hard to assemble because of how small but still really cool

Let me start by saying that I'm only referencing the product itself, NOT the seller. What I got was as advertised. I received them quickly and in good condition. After purchasing the Perry plastic 28mm AWI figures I decided to take a chance on the artillery pack from Black Powder. There is really very little comparison. It wasn't all bad, the gun model itself looks good when assembled and painted, however it appears to be scaled wrong and looks tiny when next to the gunner figures. (the top of the wheel is only about waist high on the gunners.) You are given the same carriage for both the 6 and 3lb guns, the barrel being the only difference. I opted just to use the 3lb due to the small size of the carriage. Also the mounted officer figures, although lacking in detail, did paint up very nice. My issue is with the silly looking horse they are to be mounted on. It looks like it would be more suitable for a Merry-go-round than a battlefield. The gunner models themselves aren't much to look at. They went together ok and don't look terrible when painted, but the heads were made with no neck so they all look as if they are wearing shoulder pads or something.I will use them, until I replace them with something of better quality, but I honestly wouldn't recommend them.

Artillery pieces were very difficult to build. Design could have been better. Figures were satisfactory for their size. I have no desire to purchase this kit again.
