Weaver doesn’t sell bad products, period. That being said, these reins are probably the thickest I’ve ever had. Cut the thickness by 1/3rd from the flesh side and they’d be perfect. But that’s just my opinion.

They are not supple as advertised, basically stiff and peeling leather on the backside. Do not recommend if you ar looking for decent quality reins that are supple. They say soft supple, broke in feel buttery soft. Ha ha Yea Right!

Love these split reins. They are very thick, heavy and feel durable. Soft out of the packaging. I can see these lasting me a long time

these are thicker than i expected but they are very nice and heavy weight. they are typical weaver quality - very good. they are too big for a child's hand and would be barely ok for me. but my husband is pleased with them and likes their feel.

The 3/8 was pretty thick, and heavier than I wanted. But was too lazy to return them so have gotten used to their feel. Love Weather and won't buy tack anywhere else!!
