What do you know--I discovered where the bad smell was coming from in our house. Someone had used a wax ring that was the width of the whole flange, and of course stuff was occasionally leaking out into the basement.Was never so pleased to receive a plumbing part! Arrived in pristine shape, fixed that leak. No better way to spend a Friday night!

The internet says you may need two. I only ordered one, and it leaked a little bit the first week, but now it doesn't leak at all. I think installing two would be best, but the product works exactly as advertised!

Has the same product number as the regular Westbrass ring, the wax barely covers the top of the flange.Came in a box which opened inside the shipping envelope, leaving the ring to be deformed in its wax paperwrapper. Nothing thick about it.
