I bought this as it is a model of the first airplane I ever flew on as a young boy, a Western Airlines 727-200, back in December 1979. That 727 made quite an impression.The model fits together in all of 30 seconds, yet it looks terrific. The insignia are painted on rather than cheap decals. It looks great, displayed on a bookshelf or a desktop.

My eight-year-old son wants to be a pilot and collects airplane models of various sizes. He asked for a B727 and was delighted when I gave him this one. It’s a great size and is very detailed.

Ideal for my needs. Very detailed for a snap fit. I display it in my loft to commemorate Chevy Chase flying to Utah in this type of jet on Western airlines in the movie "Fletch".
