Used to swap out front bearing on my 2007 Matrix. The only noticeable difference was that the OEM ring had more "bite" on the area where you use snap ring pliers. So when taking the OEM off it was easy because the pliers could grab it. The dorman has less of an area for the rings to bite so it was fairly difficult to compress the ring because it would keep slipping out of the ring pliers.

installed a new skf bearing and this retainer, it came loose as it is smaller then the original clipit destroyed my new skf bearing, I would never try these again
