Great quality and value. My only issue is that it has no predrilled holes for screws to attach to a surface.

This Bluebird house is beautiful! I absolutely love the look and quality. It is exactly what I was looking for. It checks all the boxes! First, and most importantly, it's the perfect home for Bluebirds! The entrance is exactly the right size, and it has the added barrier to prevent unwanted birds and predators from entering the box. It is very well constructed, and made entirely of cedar. For this reason, I'm sure it will last for many years to come. I'm so happy with this purchase! I can't wait to see if the Bluebirds find it!

I purchased this birdhouse and mounted it on a product on Amazon titled Bird Feeder Pole, and could not be happier. The birdhouse is solidly constructed and should give many years of use.Especially easy to clean out, and very attractive for our small, feathered friends...pigeons need not apply. It came with two different sets of screws that based on how you mount it, gives a solid mount based on desired screw length for your application. The thickness will allow it to withstand the desert heat, and nice insulation for the birds. Tan in color, it really is attractive!

These are really well made. I love that they are made from cedar wood which over time will take on a nice aged cedar colour. Very solid. I add a metal ring around the hole to prevent the squirrels chewing the entrance to get at the eggs and baby birds.

This is a well designed, sturdy birdhouse that should last for years. Proper ventilation & drainage has been incorporated into the design. It has been assembled with screws, not staples. The walls, floor, and roof are thick enough to buffer warmer or cooler temperatures. The front opens easily to clean out old nest material at the end of the season. The design works well for Chickadees as well. I added a metal faceplate to the predator guard with the hole sized for Chickadees. They approve! I am so pleased With this bird house, that I am ordering a 2nd one.

We just moved to FL and found blue birds flying around our property, so decided to try putting up a nest box. After researching blue bird houses on the American Blue Bird Society website, we chose this one. It's well made, and the cedar wood is beautiful. We did add a couple of things - a raised steel mesh floor at the bottom to help keep the nest dry, and the metal guard around the entry hole to discourage chewing predators. We also painted over the black roof with white paint as it gets pretty hot here, and a white roof is recommended to keep the interior cooler. We attached it to an 8' pole. Blue birds in the area have checked it out, but it is not quite nesting time here yet, so fingers crossed! There is another box on Amazon with these features but more expensive. Wasn't a big deal to modify. Will likely buy another one later this year.

This was a great price (under $20!) and its a really well made birdhouse. Its made of good wood, not too thin or brittle so it will last. Its a bigger size so larger sized song birds will enjoy this house. It is a nice style also. It has a latch so you can open the house after use and clean it out easily. i can't wait to see the birds use this in the spring this year! :)

I really like the bluebird house. In fact, I got two. It seems very well designed and to meet all of these specifications recommended for bluebirds. It has a predator guard, making the entranceway extra long and difficult for squirrels or raccoons to reach in and grab the babies. It has a clean out ability where you can check on the little ones but also you can clean out the nest between uses. it has no perch on the front to allow predators and other birds who do use a perch harm the bluebirds. Bluebirds don’t need a perch. And it has plenty of good solid wood construction to hang it on a post in our yard. Bluebirds can be picky about where they like their nesting boxes. Open areas, fence posts and make great spots for them. They don’t like to have their boxes on trees in a wooded area. Bluebirds are a friend to gardeners and farmers as they don’t eat seeds, they eat bugs, usually Pests.

We had birds building a nest in the bird house the day after we put it on the fence! Enjoyed watching the family all summer as they laid a second clutch. Made very well and worth the purchase.

I like to build my own birdhouses but wow, you couldn't build one of this quality for the price. Very sturdy. The only alterations I made was putting some sealant on the exterior to make it last longer in the elements and I opted to put a plastic turn button on the door, both sides, to ensure it will stay closed. It's very nice looking and I hope the birds think so too! From experience, it sometimes takes birds a year or two to finally move in so I won't be disappointed if they give it a pass this year.

This birdhouse ticks all the boxes. Easy opening for cleaning, no perch(perches are easy for predators such as sparrows to use), kerf inside for ease of chick's to get out a predator stop opening. Only 2 drawbacks were one came broken the roof was damaged going to try to reattach as well as about half an inch too small, the interior should be 5 inches but is 5 inches including walls. All set for field placement. We had problems with sparrows getting into boxes because it was too close to buildings but this should be easy to attach further away

I would give this a 5 star rating except for two things. The first one being that I ordered this on a deal and was supposed to receive the model WCH3 and not the cheaper model I was sent WWCH3. The more expensive model is supposed to be stained for extra protection against wear and tear but upon reflection it’s probably healthier for the birds not to have the stain anyway. From what I can see of the two models they appear almost identical except for the stain. I do feel ripped off though ordering some that is supposed be $46 on sale for $21 and just being sent the $21 model to begin with. There is also a different model which opens from the side and has a mesh vent but the front opening is easier to clean in my experience. If you happen to order the more expensive model be sure you actually get that and not this version. I would be returning it if I actually had paid the original price. My second issue is the fact that this does not come with mounting hardware IE pre drilled with the screws. Most other bird houses of this type do have that. It is however mentioned in the description that hardware is not included so it is what it is. Overall I think this is a pretty good birdhouse and time will tell how it stands up over the next couple of years.
