This is actual copper wire. I weighed it and it weighs as the tables say for 1/0 wire I was able to crimp and solder lugs on easily. Wire is very flexible with lots of strands.

Nice!! Thick copper has good movement but firm. Call these cables badonka donk because it is plump in all the right places. So nice I ordered it twice.

Not real impressed with the quality and size of the wire. In the pictures I’ve posted the red wire is listed as 1/0 and is the wire related to this review. The green wire I purchased from Sky High Car Audio. Unfortunately they’re currently out of stock.One thing I can say is this wire is priced right.

The good:Cable is copper, not the crappy copper clad aluminum being sold all over amazon.It's also true awg. Not international wire gauge.Quite flexible.The bad:Upon opening the package, the smell could be described as rotting butyl rubber (smells similar to vomit). However, this is not unexpected, and 24 hours later after airing out it smells like regular ol' edpm rubber. No big deal.
