Just what I was hoping for! These horns are easy to hook up. I used my existing horn positive wire from fuse box, and grounded to an existing stud on the body. Mounted the horns on the frame under the cab out of harms way. As they are too big to mount in the engine bay of my 95 F150. These babies are loud! Not as deep a tone as I was hoping for, but more than loud enough to get the attention of drivers needing a little persuasion! Very happy!

Bought this December 2021 for a boat that stays on a trailer under a tarp. I am a seasonal boater (no winter boating). In 2022 I put on 70 hrs on the motor for 11 outings and 2023 I put on 30 hrs for 4 outings. First trip out in 2024 was May 17 and when doing a pre-launch safety check I find that the horns are operating at about 5% loudness. Basically inaudible.During the time that they worked I used them once outside of 15 pre-launch safety checks.So you decide if this is acceptable. I suggest not.

this replaced a more expensive unit from a year or 2 previous by another mfg'r. that horn turned to a chirp/squeak whereas this one is truly LOUD and sounds like a HORN and feels like it will last! Only issue is the mounting was different...but it was a fun project and easy enough to do. only been a month so far, but wasn't ashamed to blow it loud and clear after the 4th fireworks show!!! ;-) oh, and I took a chance on a damaged packaging discount....absolutely nothing was wrong with the horn/contents!! 1/2price!!...where it was already a great deal

Last year it worked fine. After bringing my boat out if storage, just a chirp. There is no seal on the cover to keep the salt air out. Lots of corrosion on the contacts. For the price, I expected much better.

Bought this horn to replace the one on my Sea Ray 270,The factory horn was not very loud (old AFI)and the chrome was flaking off. I bought this because of the look and the reviews saying it was loud. I really like the looks and installed it in an hour. Very, very loud, really pleased. The price is great for a horn of this quality. No problems, just put it on, works great. Boat and vehicle mechanic for 25 years. I will recommend this to my marine friends. Most horn failures are due to water getting in, they must be positioned at an angle so water always will drip out the horns. Also silicone all entry points where wiring and where it is secured to the deck.
