I tried these out on drywall when I was cutting out the rectangle for an outlet. I think they worked fine. I was hoping they would make the job go faster than using my Dremel tool. It wasn't necessarily faster. I put these in my drill and had to contort my body to get the right angle to cut. I think these might be better suited for small pvc pipes or thin wood.

I've not had these long but what I've used them on so far, they have worked great. I've cut a few hardwood pieces, thick schedule PVC, and some aluminum. These cut off wheels made quick work no matter the material I used them on. The mounting shank is 1/4" thick so this won't fit a Dremel tool. That being said, I don't see a RPM rating on these to know how fast to spin or not spin them up to. To be safe, I wouldn't try to use these in something that can spin them faster than a standard drill.
