Box arrived as described. Little dividers come out if you want that. Good desk or bedside table organizer.

I really like this organizer. I'm trying to incorporate more wood items into my office and it looks so much better than the metal mesh cup I was using... this is much more aesthetically pleasing. I also like that you can remove the two dividers to accommodate different size objects. I use mine for pens so I kept the dividers in. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the price is slightly too high for the product; maybe by a couple dollars. In addition, one of the dividers does not sit flush at the top.

exactly as advertised, it's a box with 3 compartments and removable dividers. it sits on my window ledge and organizes flashlights, remote controls, box cutters, that sort of thing. without the dividers it would hold a drawing tablet or ipad easily. it is light and could be mounted to a wall or shelf.it's too shallow to hold kitchen utensils. but too deep for small office supplies like post-its or binder clips.I prefer something just a little deeper even for pens. good idea for remotes, especially for short remotes (Fire TV for example) it is perfect!that said, as other reviewers have pointed out - this thing is rough. the finish is like sandpaper, the light brown color is faded uneven (think "distressed" style). I was surprised when I opened this to see it is actual wood. Nothing fancy, just pine, but actual wood nonetheless. It's a simple design with butt joints rather than a sturdier build method. The divider sections are removable so you can configure this storage box to your liking. I know it's a pencil box technically, but I'm going to use it as a desktop planter for some fake succulents.The only gripe I have is that the nail holes are visible. Some putty or sawdust and glue would have gone a long way to cleaning it up to make it look a lot nicer. Overall thought, it's a decent little box and does what it's intended for.

This was bought with the intention of using as a utensil holder for when we host events at our home. I imagined it would be slightly bigger, but that's my own fault for not paying more attention to the measurements. I'm disappointed with the light brown color; it definitely has a green tint to it that I don't care for, but I suppose if it bothers me enough, I can just paint the thing. It holds our regular forks and spoons nicely, though the knives were too bottom-heavy to be secure upside down. Since this will almost exclusively be used for plastic utensils that's a non-issue, and I think it will do the job as intended.
