Wood Scrabble Tiles
Scrabble is the most popular word game
How to play:
You score points in scrabble by creating words with letter tiles on a game board. Each tile is assigned a numerical value, and as each new word is formed or each previously played word is modified, a score is recorded.
At the end of the game, when all the tiles have been drawn and one player uses all his tiles, the game ends. Whoever has the highest number of points wins the game.
Numerical Values
- Q and Z are worth 10 points each
- J and X both have a value of 8 points.
- K is the only tile with a value of 5 points.
- F, H, V, W and Y are assigned values of 4 points each.
- B, C, M and P are worth 3 points each.
- D and G have a value of 2 points.
- A, E, I, O, U, L, N, S, T and R are worth 1 point each.
Scrabble
Each tile is assigned a numerical value, In Scrabble, you want to form as many high-scoring words as you can. Don't end up playing low-scoring words when other possibilities exist. "Ark" is worth 10 points, whereas "Are" is worth only 3.

Great set, happy with my purchase.Here are some specs:- The set I got contained 102 tiles- This is a complete English Scrabble tiles set with two extra white tiles (4 white tiles in total).- Unlike the original tiles, the letters and numbers are not engraved, they are printed- The quality of the tiles and of the printing seems very good- The wood color is a little lighter than the originals, although the original tiles I have might have darken with usage- The tiles are slightly larger than the originals- Despite being slightly larger, the tiles are compatible with the Scrabble De Luxe edition board game (They fit in the tiles compartment on the board).- This set CANNOT be used as a new set for the FRENCH version of the Scrabble, or with any other language version than English, because of the number of each letter, and their points. BUT, this set can still be used to replace a couple of lost tiles used in a Scrabble of another language. Some of the tiles might have the same points, and if they don’t, they can be overwritten using a marker. The “white” tiles can be used to write letters and points on them. In my case, I purchased this set to replace lost tiles of a French Scrabble version.- The 2 extra tiles can be used to replace lost letters

We lost a couple of letters so needed a new set - really happy with this replacement. Interestingly - a friend bought a new deluxe game and her set had a burn mark on the back of a letter, like a marked card it’s easy to know from the back which letter it is. So happy my new set is perfect!

The quality of these tiles is good, they are uniform and smooth. There was plenty of vowels, however, I was disappointed in the lack of some consonants. For example, there was only 1 letter J.

I've had the same scrabble set for over 50 years but had lost two tiles. I expected to buy two letters, but for this price I was glad to get a whole set. Now I use my old plastic letters to solve the daily jumble puzzle in the newspaper.

Only complaint would be the number of letters. There were an abundance of I’s and E’s, but only 2 of most consonants.. both otherwise they worked perfectly!
