Wore this for a photoshoot in water, and the gold didn't lift or rub off. The back of the necklace is hollow, which is good because it would be quite heavy. It does have a bit of weight to it, chain is adjustable in length. Great value for what I paid!

This shell necklace is so magical. It makes me feel like I'm Ariel in the Little Mermaid. It looks so much more expensive than it actually is. The shell is also larger than I was expecting, but that's a good thing. I can't wait to wear it to the beach with my caftan this summer.

I actually really love this necklace. The shell charm is quite decently sized and large - I was expecting something smaller, so I was pleasantly surprised. I love shelling and knee i needed this necklace. I took one star off because while I do like the look of the chain, it tends to twist up and get linked more often than I would like. But overall, I do love this piece!
