Spark App Connectivity
You can still use the Spark App when AIRSTEP is connected.
*Note: If you're using an Android phone with Spark 40, MINI, or GO, the App's Tone Control won't work when AIRSTEP is connected. However, it works fine with Spark 2, LIVE, and EDGE.
Need a Looper Pedal for Spark?
Most popular digital amps lack an FX loop interface, forcing traditional loopers to connect via the guitar input. This means if you record a clean loop and then switch to distortion for soloing, the clean loop also becomes distorted.
Unlike traditional loopers, ULooper connects to amps via USB, ensuring your looped sound remains unchanged even when changing your amp's tones and presets.
Additionally, it adds a Line Out feature to your amp, enabling easy connections to external speakers without muting the amp's own speaker, unlike the headphone output, which does.
* We recommend the ULooper as the loop pedal for Spark. The ULooper is not included in the AIRSTEP SPK package.

I bought the Positive Grid pedal first. It works fine, but only works while using the Spark app. I didn't like having my phone tied up at a gig to be able to use the pedal. This pedal works without the Spark app. Heavy duty construction, long battery life. More sound effect options. However, the pedal won't work if you connect to the Spark app. I don't want to use the app anyway when playing a gig. Conclusion... this is a really nice and inexpensive pedal. I highly recommend!

Despite being a geek even this device was confusing. Manual has to be downloaded. Figured out most of by watching YouTube videos.

Works great but I wish it could be connected without disconnecting the iPhone app for editing tones.Also a little pricey considering it’s just 1 microcontroller (probably an esp32) with a preloaded Bluetooth library. A skilled Arduino coder could build this for $20.

Io lo uso con lo Spark Go. Funziona benissimo, e il settaggio della configurazione di utilizzo è immediato, come è immediato l'accoppiamento all'amplificatore. La fattura è buona e fatta con buoni materiali. Ha il suo bel peso che lo rende robusto. I vari interruttori funzionano bene e non hanno ritardo sul cambio di canale. L'unica "pecca" è che con i dispositivi android non è possibile usare col pedale l'app, quindi bisogna prima caricare i preset sull'amply tramite l'app, poi scollegare l'app e a questo ponto collegare il pedale. Speriamo che in un aggiornamento futuro ci sia la possibilità di utilizzare entrambi in tempo reale

J’aime vraiment bien ce produit, c’est pratique. Il ce connecte parfaitement à mon amplis spark mini.Ça a l’air d’être du solide.Le seul défaut serais la finition qui je trouve n’est pas hyper épuré mais c’est très propre et suffisant pour son utilité.Le rechargement ce fait par un câble plutôt dépassé. J’aurais préférer de l’usb c

Sadly I've owned this before and knew the setup was difficult but bought it again anyways. The instructions are absolutely terrible, god awful. I know it's possible to update the firmware because I did it on the old one, the instructions are just so bad I'm not even sure if I'm doing something wrong or if it's just a faulty product. Word of advice to the company, have somebody who is actually fluent in English and speaks the language out loud regularly do the instructions because this was poorly translated.

Ended up ordering this pedal after really poor customer service from Spark!!! 2 weeks I waited for my Spark Control pedal to be shipped and nothing...hadn't even been sent even though I'd paid in full and repeatedly messaged the company. Finally got a refund and ordered this pedal Airstep pedal from Xsonic. Soooo glad things worked out the way they did.The Xsonic pedal can be programmed to work just like the Spark Control pedal and be used along with the Spark App. But I've found that I prefer to tweak my 4 amp preset with the app then use the Xsonic pedal directly with the amp and without the Spark App. Keeps things simple and I can control the individual effects and switch between the 4 presets. Added bonus that the Xsonic pedal was cheaper too!!!!
