The pipe itself is not well made. Pipe split at a seam on the first 15 minutes of running. Would not recommend.

Got this just in time to use it on my generator after a big wind storm. Worked great to pipe the exhaust away from the generator and make it much quieter overall. It's pretty straight forward to attach and use. All the components are well made and fit well for my Briggs generator. Highly recommended!

I installed on my Firman Generator, it was easy to do and tested it, i didn't feel much difference for noise but it worked well.

Fit well everything hooked up nicely. The only problem is the aluminum tape was just too thin. Might as well go to another store and buy some quality aluminum tape to wrap it in because the hose from the exhaust to the outlet is very loose and the round rings fall apart very easily so that it all needs to be wrapped in the aluminum tape to hold together.

I used this to build my own noise box for a 4500 watt generator. It helps to keep the noise down significantly. The adapter fit perfectly on my generator and it was a breeze to install. The noise box around it make it so much quieter.Definitely something to consider when you're building a box. Don't bend it too much though, it may crack. Other than that: perfect.

The exhaust pipe splits at the seems causing fumes to leak out. Would not recommend!

Parts all fit on my generator, a firman 10000/ 8000 watt, was disappointed that the exhaust extension did not clear the co2 out thru the wall the co2 sensor on the generator shut the generator down it was suggested to me that maybe I need to use an impact driver to really tighten the clamps down I’m afraid that the stainless steel flexible pipe is poor quality and is leaking the exhaust thru. It as it started to unravel before I could get it clamped on the muffler so I think I may have to wrap it with muffler wrap to seal it but until the weather warms up not much I can do as muffler wrap needs to be applied in warm weather but the muffler seemed to quiet the generator some not all bad but not what I had hoped for Since this review the supplier has reached out to me and since then we have reached an agreement for me to purchase a new hose locally this supplier is good to work with and in 2 days resolved the problem so I’m increasing my review to 4 stars

I like the easy installation and detailed photo instructions. The kit is great for situations where you need to operate your generator in a confined space. It includes a “cat door” size exhaust flange you can mount to a wall or a door (provided you are okay with cutting a hole) to direct exhaust gases outside. The kit doesn’t make your generator silent, but it does reduce noise noticeably. The muffler/tail pipe, while it is a straight through design, it does reduce noise. It’s probably a function of the longer flexible exhaust tubing as well. Fits well, make sure to check your model to ensure this kit will bolt up to your muffler.
