Robust and adequately padded packaging. A lot of people seem to complain about the box and missing pieces. I found the box to be very good for Chinese production, looks beautiful but will have to be handled with some care. I saw many 3 stars and less reviews. Maybe Yellow Mountain has listened and made improvements, I couldn't fault them on any aspect of this product.All of the pieces necessary for traditional domino games are included ; ie. dominos. Mexican Train domino play could use a few accessories recently popularized. Yellow Mountain should put a Mexican train kit together!I didn't see many complaints about the dominos themselves and there shouldn't be, this set is beautiful, nicely mad and a good size, especially the thickness.

Some people complain about the box but the one I got seems pretty sturdy, no issue. The only thing I'll say is some of the paint on some of the dominos isn't in great shape. The dominos with gold paint on the dots seem to have some sort of black gook in there I can't tell what it is. Some of the black lines that separate the two sides are not quite right (a bit short) The size and weight are good though.

The box is beautiful and the dominoes are high quality stone. All the dominoe holders & dominoes fit into the box nicely. If you play dominoes, this is the set you will love. We are very happy and well worth the cost.

Tired of the issues (dissimilar shape/size, uneven coloring, defects/warping, zero quality control, etc. etc.) with cheap ($20) domino sets sold both on Amazon and at the major retail chains, I decided to spend a little more on a decent set.These dominoes are perfect! All are identical in size/shape. All the pips are perfectly circular, the paint is exact and the colors vibrant. The individual dominoes are much thicker than the cheap sets and are actually pretty 'hefty'. Zero noticeable defects.Would 100% recommend buying from Yellow Mountain Imports.

Purchased as a gift for my father. The only negative was that the case wood is very dry, and easily split when opening the case. This is due to the design of the lid's hinge system. The wood used is a bit thin where the pin inserts. We will fix this by gluing the wood, and attaching a string or wire between the box and lid to limit travel. Apart from that (which, in this case, is relatively minor), everything else (quality, readability of the tiles, design, etc) is very good.

Overall the set is excellent. Yellow Mountain was going to send me a new tile that I had misplaced no charge when I contacted them about losing it. The tile turned up so I contacted them to let them know not to bother.
