I have some experience with lab high schear mixers and needed one to mix a powder and oil but I did not want to spend 8K+ for the standard brand! The seller communication was great and it arrived very fast and packaged well. This is the 2nd item I have ordered from Yuchengtech and have been impressed with the quality and packaging of the product. After a bit of experimenting, I find this works great at 6000RPM, for 15 minute run time to mix a 2:1 oil to powder mixture. If you aren't familiar with high shear mixers, they work with a "vortex" vs blades so you have to give it some time to run the mixture through the holes. Clean up/take down is quick too. I wish the securing nuts on top were a bit bigger for fingers to grasp easier but not a huge deal! I also wish the mixer would "sit" 100% vertical, there is a slight angle due to the pole on which it sits and the weight of the mixer head/body...again not a huge deal and that doesn't seem to affect the quality of the emulsion. The mixer body attaches securely and fastens securely as well and is hand adjustable. I am getting very smooth emulsions with this and it was a great purchase. Thank you!
