2.Used for suspension fixtures, sprinkler heads, light fixtures, and many more items that require continuous threads or metal rods without heads or formed tips.

These are far too magnetic to be true 304 stainless. If I didn't need them immediately I would have sent them back. I will update in the future regarding how they hold up in a salt air environment but I don't appreciate the deceptive specifications.

I needed one of these for a project that I am finishing off. Since it comes with 4 in the pack, I will have additional rods if the length I am trying fails and i need a longer reach. I know, start long and then cut down is best but if i choose longer I will destroy another part if that fails. So, shorter it will be. (in the end, shorter was the answer so only one was used.)It is a very well cut set of rods where the threading is perfectly and cleanly cut. Being cut in sae specs it made working with it easier in the USA. Made is stainless steel it will not rust or attract anything magnetic as it is placed in use. Each rod is 1 foot long and 3/8-16 thread pattern. It arrives in a plastic bag wit, as I said earlier, 4 rods ready to use. It worked perfectly and I am quite pleased.

These seem to be very high quality stainless steel threaded rod. The threads are extremely clean so nuts go on very smooth. They are a good length to work for a variety of projects. I'm using them to mount some lights under my trailer. It's nice not having to worry about them rusting so they should last as long as the trailer/lights last or much longer.

To those who cried foul saying this is not stainless: 304 stainless can be somewhat magnetic, especially if the item has been work hardened. Threads on a threaded rod can be cut, but most likely formed, hence the work hardening. These rods are magnetic indeed, but not to the extent that a carbon steel rod is magnetic. Test it again, and compare with a regular carbon steel bolt. There is a huge difference. Better yet, dunk the 304 stainless along with a carbon steel sample in salt water for a couple days and note the difference.Good threaded rod, recommended.
