Using these to make custom-length Ethernet cables is much better than buying normal cables and either yanking on the cable to make it reach, or wrapping up the overly-long cable. These RJ45 pass-through connectors make creating such cables quick and easy, especially when you get good at it and can slam out 30 cables in 10 minutes. It's a great value, and connects with a satisfying click. All in all, highly recommended!

We got these to fix some cables that the kids have busted. They seem to do the job. I wish the bag was resealable, but a quick trip to the kitchen for a ziploc bag fixed that.They are also pretty cheap. I doubt that we will ever use all 50 of them but you never know when having them will be handy.

They work and crimp well. It can be challenging to thread in the wires but that might be user error. Have not had one out of 20 fail yet.

These are great quality RJ45 jacks. I’m using these to terminate some CAT6 that I’m running throughout the house. I’m running 23AWG solid core copper CAT6. I realized these are only rated down to 24AWG and was worried 23 would be too thick but the pairs fit into the connector without issue and crimp just fine. I love passthrough connectors, these allow you to get an almost perfect crimp every time without leaving stripped cable hanging out of the connector. You need a special crimp tool for passthrough jacks. The special tool has a blade that cuts off the excess pairs when you crimp the jack. You can use a regular crimp tool and a razor blade to cut the excess off in a pinch though.

This review evaluates the “RJ45 CAT6 CAT6A 1.1MM UTP Passthrough Ethernet Connectors (50-Pack)” made by ZOERAX.The product was shipped with no excessive or wasteful packaging in a plastic bag. What’s in the bag: fifty (50) RJ45 CAT6 CAT6A UTP passthrough ethernet connectors.First impressions: Good quality. Standard fit. Easy to use. I have switched to passthrough modular plugs for a while now, they make installation quicker and more reliable; you don’t have to worry about a wire misfeeding once you push it in. These plugs have connectors with gold-plated contacts for better signal transmission. The wires are inserted easily and crimped securely. The housing is tough plastic; however, there is no mention of whether or not the plastic is UV stabilized. Only time will tell if the plastic is susceptible to UV degradation from the sunlight.I am evaluating this product as part of the Amazon Vine program so I am limited to a 30-day window to submit a review. Only time will tell if this product has longevity and durability similar to other competitive products. Therefore, I will monitor this product over the next 8-12 months of use and revise my review should problems arise.Cost-effectiveness and value: Overall I am very satisfied with the product, it is well-made, convenient, and easy to use. At a current price of $9.99 ($0.20 each), I feel that the price is very competitive for the quality and functionality delivered; similar connectors usually average $0.24-$0.26 each when bought in 100-count packages.In summary: the “RJ45 CAT6 CAT6A 1.1MM UTP Passthrough Ethernet Connectors (50-Pack)” made by ZOERAX are made of good-quality material, tough, and do the job well. Well, there isn't a whole lot to say about these RJ45 connectors expect they appear to be well-constructed and work as expected without issues. Note that crimping tools capable of working with past-through connectors are needed; non pass-through capable crimper won't work with these connectors. These have gold-plated contacts and the latch is indeed bendable up to around 160°-170° (180° is a bit of stretch, really).They have 3-prong tip as opposed to 2-prong counterparts, which is decent. These are to be used with 24/26 AWG solid core wires with up to 1.1mm in diameter. I've never care to measure those and they should work for most, if not all, of the commonly available Cat 5/6 cables though.✘ Btw, the bag they come in is NOT resealable; I mean, what the heck?I should also mention that there is a reason (and a critical one at that) why these wires are twisted and they should never be straightened or untwisted more/longer than necessary to minimize interference.≡ ValueAll things considered, these are decent RJ45 connectors (rated for Cat 6, 24/26 AWG wires, up to 1.1mm in diameter) that seem reasonably well-constructed and work as expected without issues. They are reasonably priced at $10 (for a 50-pack) for what they provide and their overall build quality, usability, versatility, and performance.

I bought 2 cans of these connectors, 80% of them don't work.I do A LOT of crimping on Big residential buildings for last 10 years, these are the worst I ever worked with.....

Anyone who has ever used conventional RJ45 modular plugs knows that it is all too easy to make mistakes in the wire order, and cutting and flattening to the just the right length can be a pain. These connectors are far easier to work with, are much more forgiving of wires not straightened perfectly and allows you to double check the wiring order before making the crimp. The wire length is not critical, and the longer strands make it easier on tired old eyes to double check anyway. This type of modular plug does require the use of a compatible crimping tool, which I already possessed. The tabs on this are robust, they stood up to abuse that add on end protectors offered when I slipped them over these connectors, which don't make it easy to release the locking clip (other styles of plugs I've had caused the fragile lock to break off in attempting to remove when a slip on protector was used.) I am happy with these.

I went through this 100 pack, and then I bought the 200 pack because I find them very cost-effective and they work it pretty well. I would say out of the 100 I had to re-terminate maybe 10 of them. Can I say it was the error of the end or was it the error of me, no I can't. But I would recommend these though.
