I’m a new leather worker and needed a gauge. As I am just starting out the more expensive brands are out of reach.There were some mixed reviews, but I decided to give it a shot.-The product arrived in time and without damage to the box or item.-the gauge is pretty well zeroed, if it is off it is extremely slight. Also, you are able to adjust this via the dial on the top.- the button that you compress to measure could be a little smoother, it does stick on occasion, but it doesn’t prevent use.Overall, it has been a good purchase this far..

Very slightly off. This can be temporarily adjusted each time by tightening the little knob underneath the face, but for my purposes, accurate within .05mm is more than good enough.

Accuracy seems fine and it is very easy to use. Feels well built for cost however, I wouldn't want to drop it.

Smaller than I expected but, it functions very well, has a locking thumb screw so you can set it and lock the thickness and inspect the rest of the item easily. Very nice feature. For leather, however, it is a bit small. You can only check about 1 inch from the edge so it doesn’t reach very far. Other than that, I’m very happy with this device.

Utterly useless. Have to zero it every time - if you can. Bezel is hard to turn. Mechanism is rough. Poor precision read to read. Don't waste your money. Garbage.

The item was obviously used, the box was torn on one end and taped on the other, the bezel barely turns to the point where you can't accurately place zero (even their product images don't show the item zeroed), and most importantly, I tested this against a micrometer and the readings aren't accurate.
