Bought it for my class... colors like the pink, yellow and black didnt change colours. Gave everyone two so that they got one that at least changed colour

I purchased a pack of these pencils to distribute throughout the school year to my middle school students. My students continue to like them and particularly enjoy the various messages, colours and the fact that the colours change. We are finding that they require frequent sharpening and that it takes a while to get each one sharpened adequately (we have used various types of sharpeners and recognize it could be a combination of the sharpener and the pencil).

These don’t change color very much, only very slightly. And the messages rub off easily. Very disappointing. I would not suggest these for anyone….

I bought these pencils for my classroom and the students were disappointed because only some of the colours actually change colour with heat. The red is the best and most of the other ones barely work. Do not buy these.

My kids came home from school with some pencils that change colour with hand heat from their fire station visit, and they were pretty neat so I thought I’d purchase these for goody bags, however these are not nearly as heat responsive as the ones from the fire station. Some colours are better than others. Still kinda neat especially if you don’t have the better ones to compare it to haha
