The pencils appear to be high quality. I immediately sharpened up a few and they came to a very sharp point quite easily with minimal shavings being produced and no graphite breakage. The graphite makes marks well and is typical of #2 pencils. I don't know if I missed it in the description of the product but the sharpeners and erasers that came with the pencils were a nice little surprise as well. Overall the pencils offer high-quality and great value for the price paid. I highly recommend.

I was looking for pencils made with real wood. because the composite pencils never sharpen properly and are a waste. These are indeed real wood and easy to sharpen, especially since they come with sharpeners. Be aware and don't make the same mistake I did...thinking that that they come already sharpened. The description says, "...easy to sharpened..." which I read to say "...sharpened..." Anyway, they are still a good value, plain and simple.
