These are very small, my bad for not checking dimensions prior to purchase. Difficult to fill and they are plastic. I'm not actually certain the stem is large enough to let the water out. I inserted into plants that were reasonably dry and the bulbs remained full. I had to pull it out and tap on side of pot to get water to come out of stem. Will give it a week and see if they are worth keeping. Rather disappointed.

Very long time ago I have seen people putting small glass bottles full of water upside down in plants for this purpose. These are built specifically for that purpose, and therefore work much more efficiently. The main idea is the water is kept inside the globes with air pressure and only trickle out as long as the soil has a tendency to absorb. If the soil is dry, water moves out quickly; otherwise, the opposite.They were larger than I expected, but that was only a visual concern. The larger size allowed the ability to hold more water and last for a longer time. Of the three I started testing with, one emptied very quickly showing the dryness of the soil in that pot. In the later days, it took longer to empty. The fastest one to empty took less than a day, but others took about two days, so do not expect these to last for a whole week's getaway, but they will nevertheless help.The first line in the product page mentions 12 balls in a variety of colors, but I took the transparent ones, and all were the same. I think it might be bad wording and you might pick from a variety of colors, provided that all 12 would be of the same color. I wanted the transparent ones to easily see the water inside, but I suppose it would not be much different with the colored ones, and maybe they might have been better in not showing dirt in the future, but so far, they are all clear, and they work great.I like them a lot and the price of $15 CAD for a pack of 12 at the time of writing seems a bit high for the cost of producing these simple items, but still well worth for the purpose they serve. My only complaint would be having a bit of soil going out with the balls each time I remove a ball to fill it, but that is not the fault of the item, and I only mention that to warn you about the need to add some more soil in the plants from time to time. I am happy with them and I can recommend.

These watering globes from Wzenclave comes in a 12 pack. These globes are all plastic and does not have any drip rate adjustments. These globes has a nice looking design, but are rather small in size. I think these globes should work if you are away for a few days, but will need another solution if you are planning to be away longer. The current price of $15 CAD is decent, but do note the limitations.
