This flex line is well made and the brass fittings are perfect, without any flaws. The line is extremely easy to attach to your main gas line and the item you are installing. I used it to install a 30,000 btu Mr. Heater. I had the Heater up and running in about 15 min. The flex line is well worth the money.

It says 1/2" OD and 3/8" ID with 1/2" flare fittings but this is the second time they shipped the wrong item. What you receive for whatever reason is a 3/8" OD and a 1/4" ID hose with a 3/8" flare fitting - and it says it right on the nut so there is no mistaking it. This can cause your burner to not reach maximum BTU rating as well as additional whistling due to the smaller-than-required diameter. Wish they'd sort this out to save the trouble of playing roulette.

At "full-on", it does whistle. So I just turn the valve down a bit and then no whistle.
