This MP3 player works as you'd expect it too. I got it thinking I'd be able to listen to my audiobooks on it, but it was too cumbersome to do that. Instead, I use it to hold some MP3s of my favorite audio and keep it hooked up to the AUX plug in my car. I have an older car stereo and I find it easier to have an MP3 player physically hooked up than to try to get my phone's Bluetooth to work reliably.

Overall the player is well made and very small. It has some heft to it. The touch screen has some delay sometimes after touching the icons for different functions. I tried using the radio function, plug in the ear phone to act as antenna and I couldn’t get any stations. There are settings for normal frequencies and Europe or Japan. Nothing worked. The music files has to be stored in the micro SD car that came with it. Music plays well but you are limited to 3 playlists only. It’s fine with me. As a music player it’s not bad. Not using other functions such as photos, ebook, etc.

MP3 players may be considered old technology by some but when I can find a good player the device makes listening to my books or music more enjoyable. Overall this player is too cumbersome to use. Until I have hours of excess time to setup the way I want to listen to music then it won’t get used much.- There is no clip to attach the player to my clothes because generally I don’t have pockets. Around the house an MP3 is easier to wear all day than carrying around a bigger, heavier cell phone.- I already have a cell phone with a clock, camera and other features that I don’t need in an MP3 player that I only use to listen to books and music. There are so many unnecessary icons/features it takes scrolling through multiple screens to see them all and there isn’t an option to hide what I don’t intend on using.- The touch screen is handy but overly sensitive while at the same time being unresponsive. With a normal touch nothing happens so I have to be light with my touch and then it either doesn’t do anything for a few touches or it’s overly sensitive. For instance, after seemingly endless scrolling through screens trying to get to an artist where the name starts with a T my pinky will accidentally touch the screen in an area nowhere close to what I want, let’s just say J, and then starts playing what I don’t want. I then I have to start all over from the beginning trying to get towards the end of the alphabet. Very frustrating.- My music was simple to import with a single drag and drop of my current library. A major downside was not being to import my created playlist or rating. The player allows you to play by album, artist, style (genre), etc. but I like to listen to my music in a shuffle mode, which is not included within a category.- I like the option to listen through ear buds or Bluetooth and both are included.- There is a nice sized 128GB sd card included. Unfortunately my books are on a 256GB card and the player won’t recognize the card.- When the player is opened back up it doesn’t pick up where I left off at.I’ll need to spend hours trying to recreate my own playlists within a folder to mimic the variety a shuffle mode would offer, so until then it’s just an ok player.

When the MP3 players first came out a million years ago, lol; I thought they were a good idea but something that I never had gotten or used. The e-book function is what first caught my eye as something that I have been contemplating recently. Advertise with a lot of features also was of benefit. When I received this MP3 player I found that it was packaged very well and included earphones the MP3 player a low voltage USB C charging cable, speaker cables and a manual. The capabilities are as follows- music, calendar, file storage, bluetooth, recording, settings, pictures, videos, screensaver, themed background, alarm clock, stopwatch. It comes with an SD card already inserted in the TF slot and it holds 128 GB of storage space. The radio function - works only when the earphones are inserted at first I was able to pick up one station luckily the one station I would listen to LOL. I have picked up a few more since I first started using it not real impressed with the radio portion but it could be my location. I have not tried it outside of the home yet.The Bluetooth function of this MP3 player - you can wirelessly connect to earbuds, headphones and speakers. You cannot Bluetooth too TVs, computers or phones.Radio listening wirelessly requires Bluetooth connection to a speaker and the earphone needs to be connected to the MP3 player. The E book is a read-only instrument and not being familiar with the whole E book/ audible world I did not know that they did not all read back. I've done some quick research I found there might be a workaround to get it too read back (not confirmed)You can get songs on to the MP3 player - hook the MP3 player to your computer via the enclosed charging cable and using it like it is a flash drive.Video and pictures need to be formatted into the correct format before transferring. (File formats are pretty standard)

My family travels and camps quite a bit as well as playing music on the patio or in the backyard, and I have gotten a little tired of using my phone or my wife's phone to play music on our bluetooth speaker. For one, we don't store a lot of music on our phones and we generally stream music. With our phones, we are getting messages or walking away from the bluetooth speaker inadvertently which hinders the flow of music. This little MP3 player is great for our uses. I dropped a about 40GB of music on this device and now we have a device we can keep right next to our speaker and not worry about disconnecting while we move around or play with our kids. The quality of the sound replay is good enough for us and we are very pleased with it for this use.The issues I have with this unit stem from the clunky user interface and menus. This isn't really something a young kid could figure out how to use easily, but adults with experience with older MP3 players shouldn't have much issue with it. The included headphones are very cheap with poor sound quality. What I do like about this MP3 player is that it does have the audio jack and comes with a male/male audio cord, and the built in FM tuner does work pretty good if you have the headphones or male/male audio jack plugged in. I also like that it has USB-C charging, as most of the devices we use have this modern plug. It also is very easy to use with a Windows PC, so drag and dropping files is easy. It is quite small, and easy to store or put in a snack size ziplock when you are near the water.I am pleased with this device, but it definitely isn't a replacement for a higher end MP3 player, and it definitely isn't as easy to navigate or use like a typical smart-phone. It works great as a standalone music device so you are free to use your phone as you wish and without interruption.
